FAQs
Get answers to practical questions about what happens during the funeral process and how everything works.
Where do bodies go between the hospital and the service?
All deceased are transferred to my mortuary where they're kept in a controlled environment. Any preparation, embalming, dressing, or viewing arrangements happen there.
How do I know the ashes are my relative?
Strict protocols ensure correct ownership throughout the process. The nameplate from the coffin stays with your loved one's file and follows the ashes from start to finish.
Do they reuse coffins?
Definitely not in my services. Some places use "shell" coffins that get reused, but I don't operate that way.
Do they remove handles before cremation?
Most modern handles are plastic and stay with the coffin. Only older metal handles were removed to protect the cremator equipment.
